Management training starts in May
The masterclass, which begins on May 6, comprises one in six weeks extensive program of online courses and workshopsaimed at founders, owners and managing directors (f / m / d) of German companies and start-ups in all industries, regions and age groups.
The initiative was launched with the aim of providing entrepreneurs with a wide range of tools and knowledge in order to find their way around the new scenarios of the digital and global economy and to seize the opportunities offered by global networks and platforms. The structure and content of the course are based on Alibaba’s 20 years of experience in digital commerce.
Martin Groß-Albenhausen, Deputy General Manager of bevh, underlines the importance of ongoing engagement with Chinese e-commerce: “In the digital sector, China has long been on a par with the American and European markets. Entrepreneurs can identify possible developments in retail for Germany and thus receive impulses for innovations. The cooperation is another building block in our extensive training initiatives. Karl Wehner, Managing Director of the Alibaba Group in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey and Eastern Europe, emphasizes the insight into global success factors that arise from the understanding of the pragmatic handling of new technologies in China: “The pandemic has shown that speed coupled with the use of digital tools can make the economy as a whole, but also each individual company, more resilient. That’s why the Alibaba Business School masterclass is not just about tools, but also about leadership and vision. ”

The lectures and workshops given by international professors and experts in the digital economy focus on:
- Best practices and ideas from the digital and platform economy in China;
- The strategic use of global digital technologies to accelerate the growth of companies and specific cases of traditional companies that have used innovation to transform their business.
- Business models and strategies to expand skills and competencies in the company and to improve results and performance;
- Leadership and management as well as successful integration of mission and vision in corporate strategies.
