LG to Produce OLED Display for Apple's New Devices

Apple will use the LG Display as the second OLED maker for the iPhone XS and XS Max.

Apple approved the OLED panels of the South Korean company after testing them. This choice will make Apple less dependent on Samsung, the only screen supplier on iPhone X, which it no longer sells, and its arch-rival Samsung.

The two giant companies that left the question unanswered,

The OLED display to be used will be valid for XS and XS Max models. Unfortunately, XR, the 'budget' model, will use LCD screen technology and will be deprived of OLED.
