Spring temperatures lure many back outside. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll, ambitious hiking tour, bike tour after work or a crunchy sports program – apps can be of great help to get a lot more out of outdoor activities. The range is correspondingly huge, be it route planning for hiking and cycling tours, navigation and route recording on the way to searching for e-bike filling stations or the nearest toilet – there is at least one app for everything.
In the new episode 16 of the Mac & i podcast, Stephan Ehrmann exchanges ideas with Mac & i author Inge Schwabe and his colleague Johannes Schuster.
You can read a test report with the best outdoor apps for iPhone and Apple Watch in Mac & i issue 2/2021 and on heise +.
