SAS appoints Jennifer Chase as new Chief Marketing Officer – eCommerce Magazin

Prior to her promotion to chief marketing officer, Chase was senior vice president and head of marketing. A role she took on shortly before the pandemic broke out. In view of the disruptive changes that followed, the marketing department under their responsibility primarily focused on helping customers deal with the “New Normal”. Numerous pandemic-related projects are about supporting the containment of Covid-19 with analytics solutions from SAS.

High customer satisfaction through innovative analytics solutions

Chase has been with SAS for around 20 years – in marketing and previously in research and development. In the practical use of the technology, she has seen for herself that satisfied customers want data to be handled carefully. They also require intelligently applied analytics and a constant curiosity for innovation. In 2020 she gave the impetus for a comprehensive marketing renewal at SAS. In addition to structural and strategic changes, she is responsible for the current relaunch of the SAS brand identity under the umbrella of the “Curiosity Forever” brand campaign.

Chase studied Communication / Journalism at St. John Fisher College, Rochester, NY, USA. She is deeply committed to diversity, equality and inclusion. As Executive Sponsor of the SAS Women’s Initiatives Network (WIN) and the Women in Analytics (WIA) Network, she supports the promotion of diversity in analytics professions. She initiated the Marketing Associate Program at SAS, which offers graduates special development opportunities.
